Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

To determine eligibility for any financial aid, a family must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  You can access the FAFSA online at: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov The FAFSA can not be filed prior to October 1 of a student's senior year in high school.  Check with the college(s) you are applying to for their deadline information.

Additional questions regarding the FAFSA can be answered by contacting the Student Aid Hotline at the U.S. Department of Education: (800) 4FED-AID.

Prior to completing the FAFSA online, the student and at least one parent must register for a Personal Identification Number (PIN): http://www.pin.ed.gov

Financial Aid From the School You Plan on Attending:

Some schools ask students to complete an individual financial aid document from their own financial aid office.  These forms are usually mailed to accepted students or are included in the application packet.  Please contact the specific school for more detailed information.
