Principal Welcome
Welcome to Little Falls Community High School, home of the Flyers and Flyer Pride! LFCHS is a school with approximately 850 students in grades 9-12. Our staff is student-centered and works diligently for student success. The students and staff at Little Falls Community High School work to build upon the tradition of excellence in the areas of academics, athletics, and fine arts. Excellence is our expectation!
Little Falls Community High School has a comprehensive curriculum and elective program. LFCHS has an extensive concurrent college program with 18 college courses, totaling 45 college credits, offered through the Minnesota State University System. Our “Senior to Sophomore” program offers students the opportunity to take college courses while never leaving the building. Our staff teaches college courses in human anatomy/biology, calculus, chemistry, literature, rhetoric, physics, political science, Spanish, sociology, welding, and environmental biology. This program is free for the students, and successful completion of the program will save the student and family thousands of dollars in college tuition. Little Falls’ students can complete their freshmen year of college during their senior year of high school. It is a great opportunity for our kids! Our high school curriculum also offers advanced opportunities in art, business education, FACS, and industrial technology. For a list of all the courses taught at LFCHS please refer to the Course Directory.
Our students not only excel academically but also have had tremendous success in co-curricular activities. Little Falls Community High School has over 40 academic, athletic, fine arts, and leadership programs for students to participate in. We continually look for ways to provide opportunities for all students to be successful in an inviting school environment. Little Falls High School is committed to doing its best to help students grow and reach their potential academically, athletically, socially, and emotionally.
It is the expectation of the LFCHS community that we treat each other with dignity, equity, fairness, and respect. Our staff and students are committed to continuing our tradition of excellence. With the ongoing support and involvement of our parents and communities, we embrace the many opportunities to learn, teach, and appreciate the unique gifts that we can offer to one another. We welcome you to Little Falls Community High School, home of the “Flyers” and purple pride!
Sincerely,
Tim Bjorge
