Congratulations to Gabrielle Sobania (11th Grade) and Riley Scherping (10th grade) for being selected to the 2024-2025 Minnesota All-State Band.

Students audition in February as 10th and 11th graders for a prestigious spot in the MN All-State Program. Over 500 students across MN audition each year. Judges listen to students, evaluating them on their technique, musicianship, and overall sound. Students who are selected participate in a summer camp in August where they rehearse with other talented students across the state, culminating with a concert at the end of the camp. The All-State Bands will then meet again in February to put on a concert at Orchestra Hall, one of the premiere concert halls in Minnesota. The Playing It Forward! Spotlight Scholarship helps cover some of the tuition for these camps for All-State Band students.
